When talking about mental health it is important to include children and encourage them to express themselves early on in their young lives. Hence the celebration of children’s mental health week in the first week of February.
Expressing oneself doesn’t necessarily mean showcasing to others or being the best but it is more about feeling good about themselves and expressing how they feel or think.
There are different ways to creatively express how you feel or think. It could be through writing, dancing, music or art. How do you express yourself? Mine is through listening and singing along music.
