Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Course (CPR and First Aid) with AED (International Certification from UK)

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) Secondary Care (First Aid) courses teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. It also covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Participants focus on primary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.

Skills taught in this course:

  • Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management.
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use
  • Injury Assessment
  • Illness Assessment
  • Bandaging
  • Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures

Includes first aid treatment reference for the following emergencies:

Allergic reactions (incl. anaphylaxis), asthma, bruises, burns, chemical burns, choking (adult, child, infant), CPR (adult, child, infant), cuts, dental injuries, diabetic problems, dislocations and fractures, electrical injuries, eye injuries, first aid kit assembly, fish spine injury, frostbite, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, heart attack, hypothermia, insect stings, jellyfish stings, octopus bites, poisoning, scrapes, seizures, snake bites, spider bites, sprains and strains, stroke, temperature related injuries and venomous bites and stings.

At the end of the workshop, participants will:
• Identify a medical emergency and prioritize what to do first.
• Master various first aid skills and techniques such as bleeding, chocking, CPR, spinal injuries etc…
• Evaluate different medical emergency situations.
• Practice real life scenarios and role play.
• Gain confidence –and courage- to act and help others in need.

Training Methodology:
• Hands on approach with role play, simulation and practice on manikins, in order to retain new skills.
• Usage of diverse audio-visual material.
• Group and peer learning in a non-stressful environment.
• Focus on the participants’ needs.

Students will receive their certification through their emails within 72 hours.

Cancellation Policy for Public Courses:
Full payment in advance is required to book a spot.  This policy is due to the high level of customization involved in our trainings, which is based on the number of people that have registered as well as space limitations. 
For a full refund, written cancellations must be received 10 days prior to the start date of the training. Cancellations received between 10-7 days prior to the start date of the training are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the start date are not entitled to a refund, this includes no show.
