The Mental Health Awareness Distinctive Course provides participants with a broad understanding of mental health:
- Definitions and Factors Affecting Mental Health: Clear definitions of key terms and the factors that encourage well-being and the risk factors that block it.
- Stigma and Discrimination: How social perceptions impact individuals living with mental health challenges.
- Prevalent Mental Disorders: An introduction to common conditions and their accompanying signs and symptoms.
- Support and Resilience: Guidance on helping people in distress and practical strategies for honing personal resilience.
- Pathways to Self-Care: Effective routines and practices for maintaining overall mental well-being.
Practical & Hands-On Application:
Beyond theory, this course has interactive practice sessions designed to build real-world confidence. participants will have to chance to:
- Role-play support scenarios: Practice holding supportive, non-judgmental conversations with someone in distress.
- Work through case studies: Analyze realistic scenarios to identify early warning signs and choose the best pathways to care.
This course is not only suitable for individuals but also at the workplace, where it is a growing concern and the spotlight is on employers to evaluate the need, and provide adequate provision, for the mental wellbeing of their staff. This may include training staff or individuals in the awareness of mental health issues, and how to recognize signs and symptoms and provide support to someone who may be experiencing mental health issues.

Cancellation Policy for Public Courses:
Full payment in advance is required to book a spot. This policy is due to the high level of customization involved in our trainings, which is based on the number of people that have registered as well as space limitations.
For a full refund, written cancellations must be received 10 days prior to the start date of the training. Cancellations received between 10-7 days prior to the start date of the training are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the start date are not entitled to a refund, this includes no show.
